Anyone who has bought the 128GB or even 256GB MacBook Pro will eventually know how precious disk space really is. The common solution is of course moving off theĀ unneededĀ files such as music, books, etc to external storage such as usb hard drive or usb drive sticks. The problem is, if you are like me, you might want a USB stick that can be left plugged in almost all the time.

The mac has two USB ports and I can say from my experience that I only ever use them once or twice and never 2 of them at the same time, so I plan to get a USB stick in one of them semi-permanently. Of course, the mac is not my main workhorse computer therefore I can consider this kind of approach. So here are the perfect candidates if you really want a super small usb sticks.

The smallest USB sticks so far

I have to say though, I’m inclined to get the patriot memory, since it matches colour of the mac or the SanDisk because of its good price.
